The Church has been in existence since 1985 bearing a faithful witness to the gospel amongst the English speaking residents and visitors to Benidorm.
It is overseen by the Paraclete Christian Network International (PCNI), which is a registered charity (1019767).
Paraclete Christian Network International is a ministry dedicated to serving and equipping the Kingdom of God at home and overseas. The word 'Paraclete' comes from the Greek word used as one of the names of the Holy Spirit and means "the one who comes alongside to help".
This reflects something of the vision which brought PCNI into being in 1984, networking with other ministries across the world, seeking to encourage, equip, support and share resources in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Benidorm, known as the Jewel of the Costa Blanca’ by some, and ‘sin city’ by others, is without doubt one of the most popular cosmopolitan and most publicised tourist resorts in Southern Spain.
Recent estimates report that Benidorm attracts 3.8 million visitors each year, of whom 700,000 are British of all ages. This influx brings a range of benefits and problems, such as drunkenness, vandalism, violence, sexual promiscuity etc, particularly among young people.
Alongside the tourists, there are many thousands of permanent and semi-permanent British residents for whom Benidorm is home for part or the whole of the year. Among the estimated 50,000 in these groups, some are employed servicing the tourist industry, working in restaurants or bars, or in other sectors whilst others have chosen to retire to Benidorm, either completely leaving the UK, or living the winter months in a second home. Many of these have significant, physical, social and spiritual needs associated with living in a foreign country.
Even in sun-drenched Benidorm the young people are ever looking for reality. Those living in the latter years of their life are often reflective on perhaps a wasted life and ready for a presentation of the living Gospel. In fact, many have never been presented with the Gospel.

THE OUTSIDE CIRCLE– the red colour symbolises the blood of Christ which saves us and makes us secure in Him.
THE PEOPLE– church is not structures, policies or programmes. It is all about people and transformed lives.
THE CROSS– Is in the centre. This is the focal point of our church life and it is the work of Jesus on the cross which we preach and proclaim, as the only means of salvation.
THE SUN– not only does it represent Benidorm but it represents that first Easter morning when the Son of God rose again physically.
THE WHOLE– reminds us of who we are and what we are here for.

Trevor is passionate about God’s word and its power to be used by the Holy Spirit to change lives. The preaching is expository but practical and pastoral in its application. You will be sure to benefit from the services.Trevor and Maggie have been married since 2010. Trevor's first wife Sheela went to be with Christ in 2007. They had been married for 27 years and had four children together, so he knows what it is to walk through the valley of grief. But when he met Maggie, who had never been married he decided she needed a good husband and thought he better marry her “in case she found one”!!!
They are very much a team and are in Benidorm because of the call of God on their lives. Sacrificing family and friends at home, they believe God has sent them to the heart of Benidorm to share God’s word, bless the local church and to encourage Christians to be lights in a dark place.
You will often find Maggie at the door greeting you with a ready welcome, a warm smile or offering you a tea or coffee.Trevor and Maggie look forward to welcoming you to the church in Benidorm and maybe enjoying a tea or coffee with you.

What do you think of when you hear the name Benidorm? Sun? Sand? Alcohol? Crazy Karaoke and free shows in local bars?
Probably all of that and more. But here’s the thing…… despite all of its obvious attractions, when you scratch the surface, there is another side. Loneliness, depression, fear and worry.
But isn’t that true of all of us?
On the outside we may appear to have life all sorted, but on the inside we are full of doubts and worries. Most people lack a deep inner peace - a peace that is unshakeable no matter what life throws at them.
Where is that PEACE to be found?
Up on the hill overlooking Benidorm, is the famous CROSS. It’s worth a visit. It towers over the town and offers spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. It is really worth going up there and having a look for yourself.
But there is something symbolic about it. The cross on the hill speaks to us of the real cross on the real hill. Jesus Christ died on the cross on Calvary’s hill. Right there in that moment he paid for our sins – he took them upon himself. He cried “IT IS FINISHED”
Why?
If you confess your sins to him and turn away from them, (the Bible calls that ‘REPENTANCE’) he will receive you and forgive you. No matter what you’ve done, he will assure you of a future with him forever. That’s the path to real peace.
